Since we just celebrated Christmas, I figured now would be a good time to post a blog about Thanksgiving, you know, because if I don't do it by New Years Day then it's just sad. So here is a little recap of our Thanksgiving celebration...
We hung out for the day at Great Mama's house - we always have Thanksgiving at her house every year, which works out great for us not only because she lives so close but because Jeremy works every Thanksgiving and her house is right across the highway from his work so he doesn't have to miss out on the BEST meal of the year!
There was some football action in the backyard...Logan played catch with Aiden and Aiden loved it - he LOVES his cousin Logan so much! He asks to go play with "cousin Logan" constantly!
There was a little chasing and wrestling and tackling...with all these boys running around I think Ayla is going to have have to grow a little tomboy side to her so she can keep up with them one day!
Snapping a family photo for Christmas cards this year...
And of course there was the food...all the yummy turkey, potatoes, stuffing...mmmm...
Nana Robyn held Ayla for me while I ate first - I think she knew that I couldn't wait to eat. I love turkey dinners. I think it's the gravy. And the stuffing. And the pie. What, I'm nursing so I get to eat twice as much.
And after dinner a lot of relaxing, chatting with the family and just generally sitting around being FULL!
Oh, and the boys did the dishes this year...it was awesome ;)
